Vaughn is the Vice President of Valley Tool Manufacturing Co. and the CEO/President of Valley Farm Supply Stores, Inc. He continued in his family’s business and has made great strides, such as expanding their services online. After a short break, Vaughn returned as a board member in 2019. He brings his passion for helping the Central Valley prosper and the business experience to help further LearningQuest’s mission.

Gordon aims to develop and facilitate a plan to increase community based funding, present the LearningQuest message to local influencers and decision makers, make a contribution to improve the quality of life in our area, and increase and improve the literacy rates in the community.

Marylou has a deep commitment to literacy in the community. Proof of her devotion stems from her being a founding member of the Volunteer Board, the initial founding agency of LearningQuest. She has served on many advocacy boards in her professional career and brings that experience to the LearningQuest board, helping the staff, students and organization reach the next level in supporting Stanislaus County.

Stephanie is passionate about learning and teaching others. Aside from volunteering at her church to support child classes, events, and care packages for the homeless, she would like to train LearningQuest staff and provide workshops for students on interviewing and resume creation. Stephanie has earned the SHRM-CP and HRCI designations for her work in the human resources field and as the HR Director at GLS-US.

Fatima is a longtime supporter of literacy and firmly believes that it is the basic skill necessary to navigate life’s activities. She is ready to provide her professional and personal experience in order to support the goals of LearningQuest and the students.

Winnie works to encourage young adults to attain their highest educational aspirations. She supports programs to create a more productive and resilient workforce instilling the value of education in the family. With her LearningQuest tutor experience, she also plans to improve the delivery of services in alignment with the organization mission statement.
